• Tattooing is a deeply personal journey that often involves navigating emotions, stress, and past experiences.

As we embark on this creative process together, I kindly request your understanding and support.

Please refrain from non-consensually sharing intense personal experiences, trauma dumping, venting, or discussing sensitive topics. I also ask that you don’t engage in passive-aggressive or hurtful speech during our time together or in written communication.

Maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere ensures we focus on creating the best possible artwork. Your cooperation in keeping the energy light and uplifting is genuinely appreciated, allowing me to fully devote myself to crafting a tattoo that speaks to your vision and resonates with your spirit.

Thank you for your understanding and collaboration.

  • Q: "Would I be able to reschedule my appointment?"

Starting December 1st, 2024, a $50 booking fee will be required to reschedule; please let me know within a week of your appointment.

I will reschedule for the next available calendar date.

    Saturdays go by fast.

If I don’t hear back from you for the second reschedule within two weeks; your booking fee will be void

I will require a new booking fee if you reschedule last minute or reschedule a 2nd time.

  • Creative freedom is everything.

It will get you the best work from me, as seen in my portfolio.

I like expressing your idea with my ability to illustrate freely without restrictions; in my professional experience, tattoos that are approached with creative freedom are always the absolute best, I profoundly appreciate your trust!

  • Q: "Would we be able to have an in-person consultation?"

Consultations happen over ZOOM; consultations are 15-20 minutes.

If your idea aligns with my style, I will schedule a Zoom consultation with you!

  • Q: "Can you send me a copy of the tattoo? Would I be able to take a photo of the concept?"

I offer drawing reviews upon request when the design is particular to a theme and to folks traveling from another state or continent to ensure we are ready!

    My redraw fee is $100

  • Q: "Will you confirm with me the day before the appointment?"

You can confirm with me by submitting your paperwork and the “day-before” checklist.

The “paperwork” tab on my website has all forms ready!

  • Please arrive at your scheduled time.

You have a 30-minute grace period.

A new booking fee is required to reschedule last minute; or if you don’t honor the appointment.

  • I encourage you bring one guest for support if needed!

Please exercise good judgement and make sure your guest isn’t disruptive of the tattoo space and process.

Any disorderly guests will be politely asked to exit.

  • Q: "Where Is Your Studio?"

I am currently working out our collaborative private studio called Wonderheart, located at: 2938 W Armitage Ave, Chicago, IL 60647

  • Q: "where do I park? Is there street parking?"

Parking is accessible on the empty lot on the side of the building. Please park on the right side only. Access through the alley!

  • “What is a booking fee vs. a deposit?”

A booking fee is a flat payment that covers the time spent drawing and supply costs used during a tattoo and does not credit to your tattoo.

A deposit is the same as above, but credits towards the final price of your tattoo.

    “Why a flat fee?”

I’ve chosen to operate with a booking fee to maintain ethical price adjustments amidst global inflation, all while maintaining my hourly rate consistent!

    Booking Fees:

    $100 for custom

    $50 for flash

  • I work off an hourly rate of $200 P/H

The booking fee for the tattoo is $100

The booking fee does not provide credit to your tattoo.

I offer most flash pieces I want to tattoo at 150 P/H or a flat rate. If a flash piece can not be completed in one session, a new flat fee or hourly rate will apply once agreed.

  • I offer a full-day rate on a case-by-case basis; please ask me about this during our consultation!

  • Q: How long do you think this tattoo is going to take? Do you have an estimate?

I can predict a time once we are in the studio setting, but it's subjective to pain tolerance, breaks taken, etc.

On a statistical average, including heavy details:

    Small pieces 1-4 hours,

    Medium pieces 3-8 hours

    Large pieces 6-12 hours

We take as many breaks as needed and eat food; it’s a party! Don’t let the long times scare you!

I have found that If you’re in a comfortable setting and feel good, you can sit for long periods!

  • I accept card payments with a 3% processing Square fee.

Cash or Peer to Peer money processes (Venmo, CashApp) also accepted!

Tips are accepted via CashApp, Venmo, or real cash!

  • Q: "How big do you work?"

I primarily work from medium to large. 6” - 18” in height

    The bigger, the better.

I like reserving smaller tattoos for flash and one-off tattoos.

  • Q: "Can You Tattoo A Piece I Commissioned From Another Artist?"

I do not, but, I can reference that piece and do my version!

  • Case by case basis!

  • Only on a case by case basis; show me what you have!

  • Please don’t apply any numbing agents to your skin before your appointment. I only use trusted numbing agents sparsely towards the end!

  • Q: "do you do text or script, or can you write out a quote on my tattoo?"

I do not tattoo singular script pieces, but I can design a piece with text in it as long as it’s fun and creative!

  • I do not tattoo genitals or armpits.

  • Touch-ups are generally free with suggested tips within 6 months of your schedule date.

I ask that you be patient in getting a touch-up. I will book touch-ups exclusively for days when I have open availability!

  • Q: “Can I bring you a gift?”

I appreciate the gesture and intention from the bottom of my heart, but please hold off on bringing gifts, treats, etc.

Your presence and time are equally treasured!

  • Masking is now optional! If you are immunocompromised and need to be accommodated by having the studio staff and guests wear a mask, please email me!

  • Q: Can I smoke in your studio?

Smoking is not allowed in the studio space, including e-cigs, but you can certainly smoke/vape outside!

Please don’t consume or smoke cannabis before or during your session

  • Large areas of broken skin (sunburns) or open wounds near the tattooing site will result in a reschedule.

Minors are not allowed into the studio space.

Please have no prior commitments before and after the tattoo session.

DISCLAIMER: I will always strive to take on artistic challenges. However, I reserve the right to turn down a project that doesn't align with my creative ability. A client will not be denied service for skin tone, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, body type, ability, disability, etc.
